Looking for the best luxury hotel in Lausanne, Switzerland? Beau-Rivage Palace is the perfect spot for you! This hotel was on my bucket list for so long and I was SO excited to finally visit! My stay exceeded my (already high) expectations, and I felt like I was walking on a cloud of happiness the whole time I was there.

I’ll be sharing my experience at the 5 star luxury hotel, from check-in and the room itself, to all the property has to offer. We got upgraded to a lake-view room upon arrival! I am so grateful they were able to do that, I think it really enhanced the experience. For a full room tour, check out my Instagram Reel!

Side note; the Dalai-Lama has also stayed at this hotel, amongst so many other celebrities and important people. The hotel has framed photos with autographs and notes from all the VIPs, which was pretty cool to check out.

Arriving at Beau-Rivage Palace

lakefront view of Beau-Rivage Palace

stunning hotel lobby!
incredibly fancy room key

I actually cannot decide if the exterior or interior of Beau-Rivage Palace is more beautiful!! Since we had rented a car, we parked right at the hotel, entering through the revolving door. You can also valet your car, or take a taxi or public transit to the hotel.

From there, you walk into this beautiful marble hotel lobby and check in on the left. Also, how crazy are the room keys?! I have never seen such exquisite room keys, but actually really enjoy them. I think all hotels should have them!😂

Lake View Room

Oh my goodness. The view is stunning. I think we went before peak season, and so they upgraded us to a lake view room, which I am so thankful for! I don’t think we would have had the same experience; it was so fun to sit out on the balcony and look at the sun setting over Lake Geneva.

They had set out these strawberries and chocolate for us, plus a hand written note. It was a really nice personalized touch. Also, if you look closely, you’ll see the chocolate bar literally has the hotel printed on it!?

Featuring here: a view of the bed and the view from the bed! The entire room was so beautiful, I am not sure I’ll ever get over the view! There were also a ton of full length mirrors on the walls surrounding the bathroom. Which if you know me, this is huge, but also I think essential for a vacation so you can check out your outfits!

Dining

Included with your hotel stay is a daily breakfast buffet at Café Beau-Rivage. I did not get any photos of the spread, but let me tell you, it is impressive! There’s a wide variety of food, from fruits to breakfast staples like eggs and bacon to sliced meat and cheese.

There are multiple fine dining options on the property for lunch and dinner. Most notable of the options is the Anne-Sophie Pic restaurant, a 2-Michelin Star restaurant. You can check out all of the restaurants and their current menus here.

Amenities

indoor pool / sauna
outdoor pool & daybeds
amazing gym with weights & machines
huge outdoor chess set

Beau-Rivage Palace offers so many nice amenities including a fitness center, indoor pool, Spa Cinq Mondes, sauna, outdoor pool complete with daybeds, two tennis courts, and outdoor chess set. You can see more on their website here, and check out the current spa service menu. I highly recommend booking a spa service in advance!

There is so much to do at this luxury hotel! We only stayed for one night, but I wish we had stayed for at least two nights. I feel like I only got to see and experience 50% of what the property has to offer. I definitely would have loved to play tennis in the morning had it not rained the night before!
